Easy DIY Balloon Themed Two Year Old Photos
It has become something of a tradition in our family to take two year old photos taken to gloat this milestone birthday.
Our youngest daughter just turned two and my mother-in-law has been talking well-nigh getting her two year sometime photos taken soon. Instead, I thought it would be fun to surprise Grandma!
My oldest daughter posed with a wooden number 2 in her altogether photos. Nosotros wanted to go on the same theme (a large physical number in the photo), but modify it up slightly and then each daughter's shots would be unique.
So inspiration struck — balloons! Equally soon as my daughter heard the word, she excitedly voiced her agreement, "baa-llooons! baa-llooons!"
Here are the supplies needed for balloon-themed two year old photos:
- Balloon Time® Helium Tank (comes with 50 balloons)
- Large white cream board
- Exacto knife
- Clear masking tape
Footstep 1: Using the Exacto knife, cut strips of foam board about 2″ wide. The length depends on how large you want the finished number to be. Cut and arrange as needed until you take the shape as you lot'd like, then wrap tape effectually each connectedness to snugly fasten. It's ok if this number doesn't look perfect, because we'll be covering information technology with balloons!
Stride TWO: Using the Balloon Time® helium tank, inflate balloons to about one-half of their maximum capacity. Tape closely together along the top of your foam board number. (Simply filling balloons halfway will keep your finished number from floating away).

Nosotros used a rainbow of balloons then the finished number would really "pop" against the greens and blues of our lawn. We chose our backyard for practical reasons: our 2 twelvemonth old may simply cooperate/smile for a few minutes and driving somewhere might crusade us to miss that window of opportunity!
To encourage my daughter to participate, I let her choose her outfit (1 of her favorite rompers) and wear her dress-up play shoes (which happened to match perfectly)! She was excited and we were able to get a handful of adorable photos before she decided that was enough.
